Tough Market

I am writing this from my phone, so it will be short. The market is a bit tough right now. RATS is unable to identify any good buys. There are some stocks it shows to hold, but those are chewing into their gains. Right now I am sitting in Bitcoin and cash.

When the market turns back around, I will jump back in and trade. There are certainly some stocks that are gaining, but the probability of finding them is low right now.

We are seeing inflation, which means the value of the dollar is deflating. That’s a shame, but it is a function of many factors. One of those factors is the printing of money to “help” the economy. As money is created, items in the world cost more to buy. We are borrowing from tomorrow for today. The problem most do not see is that we have borrowed more than we are capable of paying back. The country does not make enough to cover the payments.

Are your investments making over 15% per year? Excellent! You are likely at zero in effective gain or less. You will be able to buy less at the end of the year than you can buy right now. Look for shelter. Find winners. Be smart.
